Limit to the number of pics you can have on your blog? What?!

So apparently you can only have a certain amount of pics on your blog before you have to "upgrade" your Picasa plan and pay either 2.49/month for 25 GB or 4.99/month for 100 GB. This is seriously not cool!!!! I don't know what I am going to do about this problem...

In the meantime I guess I will be writing photo-less posts.

  1. All the more reason to switch over to wordpress. Host your own domain with Dreamhost or some other host, and put everything on wordpress. Hosting your own domain is not free - it's about $10/month, but it includes all the pics you need. AND, wordpress has a great spam blocker that WORKS.

  2. Hi Helen,

I've been using blogger since 2008 but back then I was not so active. I want to say that by using it more actively in the past three years I still haven't achieved the limit of pictures given by picasa (it's around 67% right now) and if you browse my blog you can see that I do(did) not restrict myself with number of pics, so don't worry yet :)
Although I've been considering buying my own (blog's)domain.

P.S Thank you for visiting me. I really appreciate your sweet comments.

    1. Hmm that is interesting...I spent about 6 hours figuring out the problem and how to get around it...I considered buying my own domain...but as a not able to work person with no money I really cant afford it. I will just have to take a little extra time to resize pics before I post them so they won't count towards the total.

      And you're very welcome! :)
