Creamy Fettuccini Alfredo

I have always loved Italian food. Fettuccini is one of my favorites. I have made this recipe up for years and everyone has always enjoyed eating it. This recipe is rich and creamy. It is also a good recipe to fix up and have the next day so the flavors are more blended.

Recipe shown with skillet cooked chicken breast slices.

Ingredients
1 8oz. package cream cheese
1 cup of grated parmesan cheese
1/2 cup (1 stick) of butter
4 1/2 cups of milk
1/4 cup of flour
1 1/2 lbs. cooked pasta

Directions
1. Pour all ingredients, except the flour and pasta, into a sauce pan.
2. Cook on medium heat until mixture is smooth; aka no big lumps from the cream cheese.
3. Turn heat up to medium-high. Add in flour and stir constantly so the mix won't stick on the bottom of the pan.
4. Pull off the burner.
5. Pour mix over cooked noodles and stir well.

Suggested Toppings
~Fresh spinach
~Cooked chicken
~Cooked shrimp

Notes
~I originally posted this recipe awhile back but it really needed a new photo so I deleted the old post and posted this one.
~This recipe is great when served with my Italian Buttered Croissant Rolls.
