I don't know what it is about Wordpress...or maybe it's just because I have always used Blogger...but Wordpress bugs me. Subscribing to blogs or comments on posts is SO frustrating. On blogger all I have to do is check a box to subscribe to a comment...but on Wordpress it's not so easy, I have to go in to my email and confirm that I actually want the comments. Yes, I checked that box on purpose...no, don't send me that confirmation email...I don't want or need it. And then the second email that you get when you subscribe to (some) Wordpress blogs saying that you are now a subscriber...yes, I was aware of that. Yes, I know I'm following that blog...no I don't need to be told that. Grr... Does this bother anyone else? It's not like I don't have enough emails to go through EACH day...I get like anywhere from 50-80 emails a day from different blogs/comments. I don't need all the extra junk like that coming through too.
Oh...and the blogs that move from Blogger to Wordpress? What? Why do they do that? Some of the blogs need it I'll admit, but some were just fine like they were...I don't understand that...maybe I'm still too new to blogging? Who knows.
Okay, I feel better now. Thank you for being listeners to this little rant lol. :)

I agree!! I have been with Blogspot since 2009 and it is just user friendly. I don't plan on changing anytime soon. :o)

DeleteI felt the same! A couple of my friends kept suggesting me to move over to Wordpress but I don't see the point.. I heard its a good platform but really Blogger has always been user-friendly to me and I'm comfy with it! lol

Yes I've had several people suggest I use wordpress...but I'm very comfortable with Blogger and love the layout options (plus Wordpress no longer uses Google friend connect!!!) and I am just getting a design that I like.
