Every month or so I have someone ask me about how Autry & I met. Usually I have to hunt down the post(s) which tell that story and then email them to the person...this can be quite time consuming when you have a lot of things on your blog and, for me, can't remember the titles of all your posts! So I've finally decided to add a new section to my blog and it's here: the story of me & Autry! Hopefully this will help me better keep track of posts about our story, but if not you can always find posts about us under the label: Me/Autry.
I'm sure you're dying to know the story behind me and Autry...so here goes the short version if you don't have time to read all the linked posts: I was working at Payless when I met one of my best friends {Ro} who was from Mississippi and had a lot of {hot} guy friends. At one point her Facebook profile photo was of me and her...and one of those {hot} guy friends saw it {Autry} and messaged her saying, "hey, who's that hot chick??" {Really, that's exactly what he said.} And the rest is history...Actually, we did the whole long distance dating thing for 9 months {because he was still in Mississippi & I lived in Oklahoma then} until we finally met in May of 2012. That was a wonderful day and long awaited too! We dated {in person this time} for 7 more months. He popped the question on December 6, 2012. We got married on February 14, 2013 and have been happily married since. We are expecting our first little one whose due date is January 14, 2014! I really love Autry & am so grateful to have him in my life.

ReplyDeleteThis is such a great story. Facebook is also what hooked me and my husband up! We also did the long distance thing for about a year until we moved in together in his hometown. I'm hearing more and more stories like this.
