Button-Up Chili

Today is the first soup of the week post for this month! I am SO very excited about this fall series I'll be writing. This recipe is from my Aunt Robin. She made this up a long time ago for us and it is one of our favorites because there are no spices which many picky eaters love about this chili recipe!

By the way, the bowl in the photo is actually mine! :) I just had to use it!

Ingredients
2-3 lb. ground beef
1/2 onion
1 15 oz. can pinto beans, un-drained
1 15 oz. can great northern beans, un-drained
1 can tomato soup

Optional Ingredients
Sour cream
Shredded cheese
Fritos/corn chips
Hot dogs

Directions
1. In a large pan brown the ground beef and onion together. Once the beef is cooked, drain off the excess grease into a throw away can. Put the beef back in the pan.
2. Pour in the beans and tomato soup. Turn the heat up bring the mix to a bubble.
3. Turn off the chili and serve as it is or with the other optional ingredients.

  1. I love this recipe even though I also love spicy chili. It's a simple, quick chili, too. Mmm... ~Sandra
